Presets for Lightroom / Fashion

Fashion photography often looks amazing with more dramatic editing. The secret of many of the world's most prolific commercial fashion photographers is that they are meticulous about the retouching process because they understand how important it is to their style. Each fashion and portrait photographer have their own style of art and color tone. Aside from good photography skill, these unique features was one of the important element to compliment their works and art...

Touch of Style

Cross processing is the procedure of deliberately processing photographic film in a chemical solution intended for a different type of film. The effect was discovered independently by many different photographers often by mistake in the days of film photography. The process is seen most often in fashion advertising and band photography, and in more recent years has become associated with the Lo-fi photography movement.

Cross processing effects can be simulated in digital photography by a number of techniques involving the manipulation of contrast/brightness, hue/saturation and curves in image editors such as Adobe Lightroom.

Luxurious Black & White Presets

All photography was originally monochrome, or black-and-white. Even after color film was readily available, black-and-white photography continued to dominate for decades, due to its lower cost and its "classic" photographic look. It is important to note that some monochromatic pictures are not always pure blacks and whites, but also contain other hues depending on the process.

Monochrome Senses

Split Toning is an effect which has its origins in the days of film and it involves tinting the highlights in a black and white image one color and the shadows another color. The best results are where you use opposite colors for each, such as yellow and blue, green and magenta and so on. It's a technique that will add a lovely fine-art look to your shots, full of rich and sumptuous tones, and the good news is, it's possible to recreate this effect in Adobe Lightroom.

Fashion Lomographic Presets

The Lomo-Effect on photographs is used frequently to provide an old photograph feel or simply a colour manipulation. Lomography is a powerful sign of your existence, a constant confession of your lust for life and a magnetic field of your most intense feelings. Try out these presets to give your photos a dark lomo style effect with high contrast, different tones and vignette burns. The effect is based on the popular lomographic technique and is similar to the processing effect used in many fashion shots and advertisement designs. Overall this effect does a great job of adding impact to a plain photography with cool colour casts and unusual saturation.

Modern Vintage

Retro and vintage style never go out of style. For photographers, creating vintage effects in pictures or photographs can be achieved in many ways. One is through the use of certain filters while others apply the vintage effect in Lightroom. The easiest way to do this in Lightroom is through photo presets!

Lightroom presets can be a big time saver, especially when you’re trying to add a specific effect to a photo and you’re not sure how to do it.
