Akhand Devanagari Font Family

Akhand Devanagari is a family of 8 compact mono-linear typefaces. The letterforms are dynamic; typically round shapes appear more compact, as their verticals have been flattened. This ‘straightening out’ gives text set in the typefaces a streamlined look. Indeed, Akhand Devanagari is designed according to a modular system. All shapes bear a strong commonality to each other, without becoming repetitive. However, the curves in the modules have all been optically corrected, removing the mechanical nature that would otherwise become too dominant.

 Elegant Lux Font 

Elegant Lux Pro is a slim sans serif type face designed by schoener in 2015. Inspired by Elegant Grotesk which was originally drawn by Hans Möhring for the Schriftgiesserei D Stempel AG in 1928. The font is technological constructed but has a warm appearance due to round corners which pay homage to the metal type printed apperance. The OpenType font contains 3739 glyphs with a wide range of ligatures and alternates for a modern, experimental approach. It supports Central, Western and Eastern European Languages.

A2 Zadie Font Family

Zadie is a decorative headline font inspired by cast ironwork from the Edwardian-era. An early version of the typeface appeared as a display font in Vogue UKs winter issue in 2005. Penguin Press, New York, subsequently commissioned a cut of the typeface for our cover design of Zadie Smith’s novel ‘On Beauty’. Zadie is available in 2 styles: Regular and Solid.

 Biblia Font Family 

This all started with a love for Minister. This is a font designed by Carl Albert Fahrenwaldt in 1929. In the specimen booklet there’s a scan from Linotype’s page many years ago. They no longer carry the font. I’ve gone quite a ways from the original. It was dark and a bit heavy. But I loved the look and the readability.

Idiom is an extra-condensed, tightly spaced display face with congruent forms exuding a strong sense of rhythm and elevation. The basic stenciled

geometric shapes are reminiscent of the decorative style found with P22 Albers and Futura Black. Careful consideration of each letter’s construction, relative to all characters, lends Idiom a decided sense of cohesion and sophistication.
