COCOMAT is a typeface variant from the COCO GOTHIC family of sans serif geometric typefaces. It’s inspired by the style of the twenties and the visions of italian futurists like Fortunato Depero, Giacomo Balla and Antonio Sant’Elia. It’s a typeface about the future as imagined in a period of great faith in technology and progress. It comes in ten weights and features an extended character set with open type support for small caps, ligatures, European languages, Greek and Cyrillic alphabets.

»Maxi« is a very french linear, geometric sans typeface, that can be used in all latin languages. The »Maxi Plus« has narrow uppercase glyphs instead of lowercase letters and the uppercase glyphs are extra wide, so you can combine three different widths of caps to get a unique design. The two fonts come in the same five weights each. Before I publish these fonts through my usual channels I am offering them at a reduced pre-publication-price. Enjoy!

 Marshmallow Font Family

Marshmallow is a fun, fat, super high-contrast script typeface in two variants. A slick connected (Script) and a mellow unconnected (Fluff) style that provides the versatility you need regardless of the display usage you plan. Marshmallow Script tops out at 820 characters, and both fonts feature a wide array of swash and stylistic alternates that complement the other, with varying options in the three additional stylist sets, titling alternates, ligatures and contextual ligature combinations. The fonts even contain ordinals, superior and inferior numerals, OpenType-generated fractions. All of these extras are produced with a sense of decadence and fun to expand the possible uses of the typeface. It can’t be used everywhere, but when it is used, it should be used with indulgent abandon… which is pretty much what happens any time we take a soft, gooey bite into marshmallow now, right?!

 Forma Font Family

Originally released in 1968, Forma was the Italian type foundry Nebiolo’s answer to Helvetica. It was created by a team of eight designers, led by the legendary Aldo Novarese, that Nebiolo assembled to design a more mature and humane neo-grotesque. As a result, Forma’s rationality is tempered by its warmth, and its trademark single-story a sets it apart from the rest. Issued in metal over a decade after Helvetica and Univers, Forma was relatively late to the neutral sans serif game. It never made the jump to phototypesetting and virtually disappeared after Nebiolo closed its doors in 1978. However, publications designer Roger Black always continued to admire the design, and in 2013 asked me to revive it for his redesign of Hong Kong Tatler magazine. I’ll admit it: when I first looked at Forma, I thought it was a bit boring. But through Roger’s eyes, I began to see the typeface in a new light. Gazing at his old type specimens, we looked beyond its obvious Helveticaishness and saw the culmination of an entire era of typography: an era when formal purity was the ultimate design achievement, when the spacing of headlines was outrageously tight, and when neutral neo-grotesque sans serifs were actually something fresh and exciting to read. Our digital interpretation, named Forma DJR, seeks to revive that excitement.

 Public Font

Public is a classic revival of Art Deco font with a taste for modern usage, it as some glyph variables between uppercase and lowercase, which gives it more versatility when it comes to decide what is needed from it. Public comes with numerals as well as a standard set of accents and symbols. Notice that our fonts are created as display typefaces, so our fonts come with what we consider the needed and usually used for this end.
