Parfumerie Script Pro Font Family

Take a look at the User’s Guide at the Gallery section for technical information. After the success of Aphrodite Slim (One of MyFonts' best fonts of 2009, which was co-designed with Maximiliano Sproviero) Typesenses presents Parfumerie Script, designed by Sabrina Lopez. With more than 2500 glyphs, Parfumerie is unique amongst the others in its style because it is based on the author’s calligraphy. One of its variables is a Decorative option which combines Copperplate Calligraphy with an ornamental form native of Buenos Aires (where Sabrina lives), the ‘Filete Portenio’, which makes it look original amongst the other fonts. Sabrina has exclusively designed this font for two years, with an obsessive adjustment, in order to provide the world with one of the best scripts ever made. Pancetta Pro Font Family

Neubau Font Family

Neubau is a condensed geometric display typeface, designed in 2009. The inspiration for this face came from Joost Schmidt lowercase letters developed during 1925-28 in Bauhaus Dessau. Schmidt was one of the proponents of New Typography – a movement advocating the use of only lowercase letters which were constructed strictly geometrically using only ruler and compass. Neubau family consists of two subfamilies - Neubau Sans and Neubau Serif, each of them in three weights - light, regular and bold. Neubau typeface is recommended for use as a display font, and has been generated in a single OpenType format with Western CP1252 character set.

Neubau Grotesque Font Family

Neacademia Font Family

Neacademia is a Latin and Cyrillic type family inspired by the types cut by 15th century Italian punch-cutter Francesco Griffo da Bologna for the famous Venetian printer and publisher Aldus Pius Manutius. The family is designed for lengthy texts of an appropriate nature such as classical literature and art. Different versions of the typeface are optimized for specific point sizes as was traditional in metal type. Recent history of digital type left us surrounded by regularity and perfection in text fonts-- a trend that will only intensify with a switch to digital media. Contemporary luddites with their love for letterpress and hand-made materials are running out of suitable fonts. For that reason, the typeface was designed with specific allowances for letterpress photopolymer printing. When printed digitally, it can tolerate and even benefit from low resolution, rough paper, and low-grade presswork. Neacademia also has a more traditional approach to kerning and caps spacing. Instead of a multitude of kerning pairs, it makes use of alternative contextual letterforms to improve letter spacing. In many ways, it feels like using metal type again! This carefully crafted family already proved its qualities in the Modern Cyrillic 2009 competition where it was awarded in a the “type system” category. Rosetta will introduce the rest of the optical sizes in the course of the following year.

Naturalia Font Family

Naturalia font was designed by Carlos Fabián Camargo in 2012 and suggests an ultra-narrow, spontaneous and winding handwriting lettering, it is great for composing short and striking sentences. His idea behind not only alludes asymmetrical shapes but simple glyphs that compact vertical and tight proportions between lower case and upper case letters. Indeed, lower case letters have ascendant and descendant strokes shorter than the “x” height and width is generally condensed, saving horizontal space and supporting monolinear amount of contrast between thick and thin strokes accompanied by their sans serif endings. Most importantly, its full and empty arrhythmic areas consolidated variety of thicknesses simulating strokes that seem naive letters freehand draw.This lack of homogeneity is very useful for ranking words and phrases in eye-catching graphic design advertising events, culture, fun and entertainment. Thus, each “Pro” version has 350 glyphs with some features OpenType Swash, titling and Standard Ligatures. Naturalia also works in software without full OpenType functionality, for that it is recommended to use the remaining options. In order to emphasize the degree of hierarchy and as a special and distinctive feature, the variable Naturalia Black was designed with roundness and slight deterioration contours and also coated frames with zigzag edges that give the impression of black paper cutouts with white letters.

Narziss Pro Cyrillic Font Family

Since Mommie, I gradually got more into swirly ornaments. The massive contrast in the neoclassic style is perfect for thin swirly extentions to the characters. Even in an upright typeface. Narziss is very elegant in big headlinesizes. Use it only very big. What was the inspiration for designing the font? spencerian calligraphies and neoclassic contrast. What are its main characteristics and features? Narziss is very elegant in very big sizes. The Regular version is without any ornament. The Drops version has some character like the e and the k that are more unique. The Swirls version has got carefully added swirls, that come out of the basic stroke and flow into other characters. Mrs Green Font Family

Mrs Green is a great typeface for short texts, invitations, headlines, logotypes and advertising. We’ve started with a heavy capital G and A. At the beginning it was supposed to be just one fat style (still our favorite). But after a few months we’ve ended up with a family of 20 styles. Meritage Font

Memoriam Font Family

The tradition at the New York Times magazine has been to dedicate the year’s last issue to the people who passed away during the year, especially those whose lives have affected us. Art director Nancy Harris Rouemy, whose typographic design sense has earned her many prestigious awards over the years, decided on an all-type magazine cover for the 2008 issue, and commissioned Canada Type to do a new typeface especially for that project. Now Memoriam is finally here in retail form—not least because hundreds of people have asked for it. Though a few other Canada Type faces were used in the magazine with great results over the preceding months (mainly Ambassador Script and Sympathique), Nancy thought a some of the ideas in Jezebel's uppercase and Treasury's lowercase would be a good fit onto an all-type commemorative cover, but with a much higher contrast and the infusion of a more luxurious and elegant brand of poster calligraphy that doesn't date itself. After a few different attempts, the first shapes were born, and six weeks later there were enough forms to do the cover. The typeface was such a success with the editors and designers, it was used all over the magazine, instead of just the cover.

MB Noir Font Family

Lapis Pro Fonts Family

Lapis was Jim Rimmer’s venture into a territory he'd earlier explored with his Lancelot and Fellowship faces. This time he stayed much longer, dug pretty deep, and had plenty of fun in there. The end result is the kind of mosaic of influences only a guy like Jim could consider, gather, manage and apply in a way that ultimately makes sense and works as a type family. On the surface Lapis seems like something that can be billed as what Jim would have called an “advertising text face”. But under the hood, it’s a whole other story. On top of the calligraphic, nib-driven base Jim usually employed in his faces, Lapis shows plenty of typographic traits from a variety of genres, from Egyptian to Latin, from blackletter angularity to Dutch-like curvature, with an overall tension even reminiscent of wood type. There are some Goudy-informed shapes that somehow fit comfortably within all this. Then it’s all strung together with a mix of wedged, tapered and leaning serifs, placed with precision to reveal expert spontaneity and a great command of guiding the forms through counterspace.

German type designer Erik Spiekermann, created this sans FontFont between 1991 and 2010. The family has 28 weights, ranging from Hairline to Black in Condensed and Normal (including italics) and is ideally suited for advertising and packaging, book text, editorial and publishing, logo, branding and creative industries, small text as well as web and screen design.
