Eames Century Modern is a typographic workhorse that honors the Eames aesthetic while offering unprecedented functionality. An eighteen-style serif typeface family strikes an unprecedented balance between distinctive idiosyncrasies, readability and space economy. Its 18 styles include gracefully complementary italics and a virtually endless supply of deep text handling features. Carefully-weighted small caps, nine different figure styles, ligatures, contextual alternate forms and thousands of lines of computer code give Eames Century Modern a significant edge in contemporary design environments. A stencil font on the heaviest weight of Eames Century Modern takes the curvature of bent plywood and abstracts the shapes into type.

Trench Rounded is part of the Trench superfamily, which also includes Trench Slab, and a special series of fonts designed to print text is very small point sizes – Trench Sans. All of the Trench fonts include large, prominent ink-traps. Trench Rounded was inspired by a classic piece of graphic design history: Wim Crouwel’s exhibition poster for the sculptor Claes Oldenburg. Those letterforms – even though they don’t bear formal resemblance to Trench Rounded – featured huge, rounded, cushion-like letterforms with distinctive ink-traps; they gave the letters enough depth to echo the softness in Oldenburg’s sculpture. There are a number of alternates included in each Trench Rounded font: the standard form of the capital “I” in all fonts has serifs; the “a” is two-storied and the “g” is single-storied. Over stylistic sets, users can access a capital “I” without serifs, a double-storied “g”, and alternate forms of “M”, “N”, “W”, and “w”.

In the wake of these popular typefaces ?ukasz doesn’t let us down with his latest FF Eggo™, his very own and unique approach to brush scripts. When asked by a friend and grocer for something script-like to use in his store, the casual, loose calligraphic script that would eventually become FF Eggo™ came into existence. All five weights have italics – a rare feature for scripts. A unique characteristic of the type family is that the weights alter the atmosphere of the fonts: the thin style is reminiscent of a pen or a thin marker, whilst the bolder styles seem to have been written with a brush or marker. Another feature that makes FF Eggo stand out among the more traditional scripts is that the uppercase also manages to work perfectly well in all-caps setting. Useful for sign lettering to chalkboards, FF Eggo was designed to be flexible, and it fulfills this purpose admirably.
