This Font is born basing itself on several standard typographic models. Inspired by our calligraphic drawings, the idea was to synthesize these many shapes into a unique font that can be used commonly.

The slab base has been gradually humanized. The serifs have been carved, refined, rounded off, in order to galvanize the font and ease the task of reading in lower case. The angle of attack of the round letters is an echo of the 15 Century typographic heritage.

It was important for us to create an expressive and humanized font, which could also be used for edition. The purpose was to confront the Ancient typographic canon of beauty with some funny and fancyful elements.

Usual Font Family $242 | 10 x TTF and OTF

Usual is an utilitarian typeface, suitable for whenever typographic sobriety and neutrality is needed. 

With a clear modernist inspiration, Usual was born of the attempt at using a scale of proportions in type design.

Similarly to Le Corbusier’s Modulor, the scale of proportions used in Usual, works as a tool or program for the typeface’s metrics, and consequently, the rhythm of the stems.

Usual comprises 5 weights from Light to Extra Bold, with matching italics. It was designed to work well in a broad range of body sizes, from text settings to headlines. In addition to stylistic alternates and arrows, Usual’s OpenType features include letters with shorter descenders, useful for setting headlines with tight line-spacing.

Urban Grotesk Font Family $369 | 12 x TTF and OTF

 Urban Grotesk attempts to follow the best of traditions of Grotesk typefaces: rounded arches, slightly thinner connecting strokes and a vertical shadowing axis, where outstrokes are terminated strictly in perpendicular to the stroke direction. The primary characteristics are the connection of the rounded stroke to the stem, a round dot, lower and more thrifty uppercase, and generous numerals. The width proportions of characters is almost unified, the text colour creates a unified grey area on a page. An airy metric aids good legibility in shorter texts.

Arlt Font Family $549 | 25 x TTF and OTF

Arlt is a family of contemporary typefaces for a wide variety of applications. It includes text, display, and decorative fonts. Its style gives the text a sort of spicy atmosphere that makes it ideal for composing literature. 

Arlt has been created for the demanding, inspired designers. Being the result of 3 years of intensive work, the types aim to balance a strong personality against comfortable readability. The fonts have been carefully crafted in every detail, to offer you the highest visual quality standards in typography.

Arlt is inspired by the novels and plays of Argentinean writer Roberto Arlt, active in the 20s and 30s. He pioneered the introduction of Lunfardo (Buenos Aires slang) into literature, and he was the first to write about the crook and the madman. His novels and plays refreshed the spirit of Hispanic literature of early 20th century, and anticipated the work of English-speaking writers such as Irvine Welsh or William Burroughs.

Arlt is a complex typeface. Its characters have vigorous counterforms. As individual shapes the letterforms can feel impulsive and capricious, but once they are combined into words, they look elegant and sober. The text line in Arlt creates a dynamic, stimulating rhythm, which is still very comfortable at immersed reading.

Borges Font Family $249 | 11 x TTF and OTF

The versatile Borges type family is inspired by the literature of Argentinian poet Jorge Luis Borges.

It includes fifteen fonts: four full weights in roman, italic and small caps, as well as two titling fonts and an elegant chancery called Poema. This is a very legible & classic type with a contemporary flavor, and even though it has been mainly conceived for editorial use, it is suitable for the widest variety of designs.
