ALS Schlange Slab Font Family

Schlange is a rich typeface with rounded terminals. The family includes five sans serifs and five slab serifs in weights from ultra light to bold. Schlange’s personality is determined by an open aperture and quite large lower case characters in comparison with the upper case set. Schlange’s personality is open and friendly, giving a text it’s used for a soft, warm appeal. Schlange will work well as a display type (think titles, short magazine call-outs, ad banners, and such), but it’s not a good choice for extensive bodies of academic text. Available in numerous weights, the typeface provides rich opportunities for mixing and matching and is great for typographic compositions. These qualities make Schlange a dream type for a packaging designer. It will feel at home in design for cosmetics or sweets, postcards, children’s books and menus.

Interstellar is inspired by science fiction movies and writings. My initial idea for the font was to be used for signage and user interfaces that would appear on spaceships and bases. However, Interstellar is very flexible and can be used in many creative ways. For example, it is perfectly suited for graphic design applications ranging from editorial, corporate, web, interaction, and product design. The font contains 400+ glyphs which includes uppercase letters, numbers, symbols, accented characters, and multiple language support.

Expressway Font Family

Expressway is a sans-serif font family inspired by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s FHWA Series of Standard Alphabets. For the second half of the 20th Century, it was the font most used on road signs in U.S., Canada, Mexico, Australia, Spain,Venezuela, the Netherlands, Brazil, Argentina, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Mongolia and New Zealand. Rather than sticking too closely to government specs, Expressway is a more practical design that still holds on to that old, road sign feeling. The full family has 7 weights, 2 widths plus italics for a total of 28 styles. Numerals, math symbols and currency symbols are monospaced, making it easy to set up price lists and other tabular numeric data. When you use numerals in a title or headline, it’s nice to have proportional spacing to keep it looking tight. Expressway has an OpenType feature which lets you switch to proportional numerals. Sometimes, when you have numerals in a sentence, sometimes it looks better with proportional lowercase (old-style) numerals. Wacca Font Family

Wacca straddles the categories of Humanist slab and Contemporary serif, and it also gives a handwriting taste especially in the italics. Its tall x-height enables them to be extremely visible, and the slightly curved strokes on some letters give them a pleasant and organic look as a whole. The Italics introduces more cursive strokes all over, so it comes across much more organic than the regulars. This unique, fun, yet simple family is good for any purpose.

Foral Pro Font Family - 8 Fonts $187

Foral Pro is an economic slab serif typeface designed for text and caption sizes. It features pronounced ink-traps that open the insides of some of the letters, to avoid the clogging of black, and allow for more condensed shapes. The serifs are shorter than usually seen in slab serif fonts.
