Professor 14609
My father had a long, distinguished career as a university professor. (His field was Germanic languages, and he had a special interest in contemporary German arts and letters.) About the time he retired from teaching, he also more-or-less retired from writing in longhand. Because that's about when I turned his script into a font. Professor is a slightly modified version of my father's cursive hand, a good, strong, helpful, friendly, personable hand—much like the man himself. Its more than 500 glyphs include numerous contextual ligatures (which help simulate authentic handwriting) and complete Central/Eastern European alphabets.
