Showcard Collection Font Family
The Show Card collection of four poster fonts, Boadway Poster, Poster Gothic, Girder Poster, and Cooper Poster were all inspired by showcard lettering samples featured in the book, "Commercial Art of Show Card Lettering" by James Eisenberg, published by D. Van Nostrand Company in 1945. Each design's original incepton came out of theatrical poster studios of the mid 1900's in New York.
