Feijoa Font Family
Feijoa was the first typeface issued by the Klim Type Foundry. It was conceived by the principle that ‘a straight line is a dead line’, explaining the warm, curvaceous nature of the individual letterforms. This design principle humanises the overall impression of Feijoa, relieving it from the sharp points and angles that can be detrimental to digital typefaces. The core of the Feijoa family — Medium, Italic and Bold — are the text weights, useful for book typography and extended reading. The Display is drawn specifically for headlines, effective for sizes 16pt and larger. All styles include several fanciful ligatures inspired by the wonderful Mrs Eaves, designed by Zuzana Licko.
